Chinese soldiers rush to examine dams in quake zone

China has sent 30,000 additional troops into the country's southwest earthquake zone, hoping not only to rescue survivors but also to shore up dams that might have been damaged in the quake. Experts worry some dams along the Longmen Shan fault could fail in coming weeks, compounding a disaster that has already claimed at least 15,000 lives.
