Exercise during teen years tied to breast cancer protection

A survey of 65,000 nurses who answered questions about their childhood shows girls as young as age 12 who exercise get protection from breast cancer when they're older. Researchers found women who were physically active in their teen years were 23% less likely to get premenopausal breast cancer than women who were not active as young adults.
