Mobile banner ads rival TV spots for brand recall

On average, viewers of small mobile banner ads remember them as much as they do the standard 30-second TV spot, according to data presented by Stephanie Bauer Marshall of Verizon Wireless, at the Mobile Advertising Degree conference. Data suggests that the overall 2% click-through rates for mobile banners also compare favorably to click-through rates for Web banner advertising.
