State of emergency declared in Florida fires

The Florida governor declared a state of emergency for Brevard and Volusia Counties as brush fires spread across 14 counties, destroying as many as 100 homes and accessory structures, endangering a high school, and charring 17,000 acres. The location of the fires has lead authorities to suspect arson.
