BMW awards global branding to GSD&M

Omicron Group's GSD&M Idea City has been tapped by BMW AG of Germany as its lead global creative shop for brand advertising after a review. It's the first global account for the Austin, Texas, agency, which holds the automaker's U.S. creative and media accounts. Meanwhile, the shop's Chicago office is a finalist to maintain BMW's U.S. media account, which has been under review since September.
