New Hampshire announces traffic-safety push

New Hampshire officials say they're stepping up enforcement on a variety of traffic-safety laws after seeing four highway deaths in the past 2 1/2 weeks, capping a two-year rise in fatal car crashes. "Today, we are declaring war on drivers impaired by alcohol and ... drugs, as well as those who fail to obey the posted speed limits and obey the rules of the road," said Highway Safety Agency coordinator Peter M. Thomson.
