New York lifts works stoppage on W building

Officials in New York have lifted the eighth work stoppage put in place for the W New York Downtown Hotel. Construction came to a halt on May 1 after a piece of lumber fell from a crane bucket. A vice president at the Moinian Group, developer of the project, recently said he has no explanation for the construction problems. He hopes to finish the skeleton of the tower in two months and complete its exterior in within eight months.
