A panel of financial planning insiders and retirement experts discuss how the global financial crisis and ensuing economic downturn has affected people's plans for their own retirements. For example, Bob Curtis, chief executive at PIETech and creator of MoneyGuide Pro, says that clients are reacting emotionally and not rationally about the change to their situation. "So where a few years ago we were worried about clients' irrational exuberance for the market, now they're unreasonably afraid," Curtis said.
