Can you really afford to launch? (Or afford not to?)

The cost of launching a business isn't just about inventory, rent and so forth -- you also have to calculate lost income and benefits from giving up a steady job, says angel investor Shawn Bercuson. But the calculus is more than just financial, he adds: "The minute you cannot sleep anymore because you are dreaming about the upside of this business idea, you should go do it."
