Exec says Southwest can't wait until 2020 to replace 737s

Jeff Martin, a vice president at Southwest Airlines, said the carrier needs to replace its 737 Classics before the end of the decade. "We've got a fleet of 200 airplanes out there. At some point, we're going to have to do something with it, and we can't wait until 2020," Martin said. Boeing is expected to announce its plan for the 737, or whether it will develop a new aircraft, at the Paris air show in June.
