Investors shift to equities and emerging markets, survey finds

Almost half of financial planners say they will steer clients toward U.S. equities, and about 40% are eyeing emerging markets, according to a survey by Aberdeen Asset Management. Meanwhile, nearly 60% want to cut exposure to U.S. Treasurys. The trend shows that investors are warming up to risk and are interested in looking beyond U.S. markets, Aberdeen CEO Gary Marshall said.
