Occupancy rose at Sacramento, Calif., hotels in March, PKF data show

Data by PKF Consulting showed average occupancy rates at Sacramento, Calif., hotels rising from 68.9% in March 2011 to 72.1% this year. Average occupancy for the quarter showed an increase to 66.3%, from 62.2% in the previous-year period. Revenue per available room also climbed, to $68.87 from $65.46 in March 2011.
