Audi turns to AR in bid to bring its cars to life

Audi is leveraging its own augmented-reality platform that eventually will allow mobile users to access rich content whenever they see an Audi. The idea is to offer the user an experience that -- unlike a brochure -- comes to life. "When you buy a car you can hear the roar of the engine, you feel the leather, but sometimes our advertising doesn't get that across," said Hugh Fletcher, Audi national digital manager.
