Google announces software changes

Google CEO Larry Page surprised attendees with an appearance at the company's conference for software developers in San Francisco this week, allaying concerns about his health and sending Google's stock price to new heights. The company announced it was changing its mobile suite to reduce the programs' mobile data load and increase their speed. Google also said it will sell its own version of the Samsung Galaxy 4 smartphone with a "stock" version of Android.
