Organizations release guide to help educators use data

Teachers and administrators need more training and professional development in how to use student data, according to a pair of national education organizations that have released a guide on the topic. The "Closing the Gap Professional Development Toolkit," released by the American Association of School Administrators and the Consortium for School Networking in collaboration with research company Gartner, that is focused, in part, on analyzing data and developing a school culture that supports the effective use of data, education reporter Sean Cavanagh writes in this blog post.
