Regulator notes slight increase in March N.D. oil production

North Dakota's oil fields produced 782,812 barrels per day in March, a 0.5% increase from February figures, according to the state Department of Mineral Resources. This comes despite winter storms that led to some road shutdowns in the fields. "Considering what the weather was like in March, I'm actually really pleased that oil production rose instead of declining," said Lynn Helms, director of the department.
