SAMHSA report looks at pregnant teens treated for substance abuse

About 4% of approximately 57,000 teen girls admitted to substance abuse treatment facilities between 2007 and 2010 were pregnant, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration said. The report said these pregnant teens were more likely to have less education and were a little older than their nonpregnant counterparts.
