Shingle removal, new sheathing are part of overhaul at Texas synagogue

Laminated and composition shingles will be removed at the facade of a former Jewish synagogue in Corsicana, Texas, under the first phase of a renovation project at the 115-year-old building. The work on the onion-domed structure will include installation of a new plywood sheathing, water and ice shields and under flashing.
