Taxi screens to engage smartphone users with NFC, QR

Passenger screens in taxis will soon offer ways for smartphone users to engage with brand content. The service from Creative Mobile Technologies and Blue Bite uses near field communications and QR codes, allowing mobile users to access content as prompted by images and video. The service will begin rolling out in several cities in June, eventually reaching 5,000 vehicles.
