Successful online courses require innovative educators who build authentic relationships with their students through various avenues of communication, online English teacher Jennifer Sayre writes in this blog post. Sayre describes how e-mails, text messages and online forums can be used to reach out to students and stimulate conversations, even from a great distance, while noting that traditional methods may be needed as well.
