Proposed $3B-plus Md. LNG export facility would generate jobs in the thousands

Dominion Cove Point LNG, a company of Dominion Resources, plans to build a liquefied natural gas export facility near Lusby, Md., and that construction will not have a significant environmental impact, according to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The Cove Point LNG project, which is expected to "create thousands of jobs," could cost as much as $3.8 billion, according to reports.
