Resilient buildings become goal of several construction groups

Construction of buildings that can withstand storms and disasters has become the goal of several construction trade groups under a joint statement released during Building Safety Month. The groups aim to look into new materials, techniques and practices that would help make buildings resilient and safer. They will also work on continuous learning and improved planning for adverse events.
