Lawmaker suggests turning aircraft carrier over to NATO

The Navy and the Bush administration want to retire the USS John F. Kennedy aircraft carrier early for budget reasons, but one lawmaker suggests allowing NATO to take it over. Rep. Duncan Hunter, R-Calif., said the move would give allies an incentive to fund their own weapons.
