NBC to reduce upfront inventory

It looks like another challenging upfront for struggling NBC, which is reducing its available primetime inventory to just over 70%, down from last year's 75%, amid projections of flat or slightly down overall sales. However, NBC Universal's cable channels are forecast to boost upfront sales by 3% to 5%, and Spanish-language channel Telemundo could possibly post a double-digit increase.
