Survey: TV as pastime lags behind Internet, friends and movies

TV viewing ranked fourth behind surfing the Internet, hanging out with friends and watching movies as a favorite activity, according to a new online poll of 12- to 34-year-olds conducted by Bolt Media. The survey of 400 Bolt Media Web site members also found that only one in four respondents could name all four major broadcast networks -- ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox Broadcasting Co.
