Demand for air travel will force airports to expand, study says

An FAA study has found that many major U.S. cities must expand their airports over the next 20 years to meet an increasing demand for air travel. The study found that four airports need to expand capacity immediately: New York's LaGuardia Airport, Newark Liberty International, O'Hare International Airport and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International. The DOT on Tuesday announced a $1 million grant to study capacity expansion in Atlanta.
