Utah set to break ground on light-rail project

After three years of planning, a $450 million light-rail line in southern Salt Lake County, Utah, is set to begin construction. The rail line is expected to cut air pollution and commute times in Salt Lake's fast-growing suburbs. It is part of the state transportation agency's FrontLines 2015 initiative, which envisions 70 miles of light rail in the next seven years.
