Australian shoppers are migrating to the Web's international offerings

Consumers in Australia increasingly are shopping online at international e-commerce sites, citing the ease of shopping from home and the greater selection of styles and lower prices at sites such as the U.K.'s Farfetch and U.S.-based Shopbop. Last year, 43% of online spending by Australians went to international Web retailers, causing concern for the country's fashion merchants.
