Author tells Ontario conference to focus on teachers, not class size

Working to make class sizes smaller is a waste of time and money, a best-selling author recently said during a speech in Ontario, Canada. Malcolm Gladwell -- the author of "The Tipping Point" and "Blink" -- said that instead of focusing on class sizes, officials should work to improve the quality of teachers, who are an important factor in student achievement.
