High-calorie foods seem more attractive when restricted

Study participants who were trying to keep away from high-calorie foods responded with more positive associations to images of high-calorie foods. "The restrained eaters show stronger implicit liking for high-calorie food compared to unrestrained eaters," the researchers concluded.
