Internet access and computers energize students, teachers

Teaching and learning has improved at a Baltimore-area middle school where two pilot programs have provided students with netbook computers and wireless Internet access, educators say. Students are using the technology in the classroom and at home. "It makes it easier to go back and look at stuff we don't understand or if we didn't hear something," one student said. "Learning has become a lot easier with computers and a lot more fun."
