Conn. council rejects plan for 3.2-megawatt wind farm

The Connecticut Siting Council voted to reject BNE Energy's proposal to build a 3.2-megawatt wind farm in Prospect, Conn. The council cited local opposition to the wind turbines for the decision. "We feel that it's a sad day in Connecticut when the Siting Council would reject a wind project just because some people might see wind turbines off in the distance," said Paul Corey, chairman of BNE Energy.
