Brazil's retail sales beat forecasts in March

Brazil's March retail sales fell 0.1% from February, a smaller drop than the 0.5% analysts predicted, and sales were up 4.5% compared to the same month last year, according to the national statistics agency. The central bank has indicated it might speed up interest rate increases to curb rising inflation.
