Congress pushes SEC to move on Dodd-Frank and JOBS rules

U.S. lawmakers are becoming more energetic in their demands that Securities and Exchange Commission Chairwoman Mary Jo White accelerate the adoption of rules mandated by the Dodd-Frank Act and the Jumpstart Our Business Startups Act. The House has passed a bill giving the SEC an Oct. 31 deadline to implement a portion of the JOBS Act that simplifies fundraising by small businesses.
