Eurozone exports surge 2.8% in March

Eurozone exports jumped 2.8% in March, the third month of gain. Meanwhile, weak domestic demand caused imports to fall 1%, helping to more than double the region's trade surplus from the previous month. The latest figures indicate that trade was a positive factor in the first quarter even as the eurozone remained in recession.
