Girls see fun, fascinating sides of STEM at Pa. conference

Organizers of the annual Girls In Focus with Technology conference in Doylestown, Pa., hope the event's combination of fun engineering projects and meetings with women professionals will lead attendees toward careers in science, technology, engineering and math, and help close the gender gap in STEM. The daylong conference included sessions involving roller-coaster design and talks by a veterinarian and engineer.
