Google adds apps for Glass; developers walking a fine line

Google will add seven applications to the two already written for Google Glass, the company announced Thursday at its developers conference. The apps for Glass are more limited than traditional wireless programs. Google has encouraged developers to hack around with "Glassware" and is working with companies such eBay to build tie-ins to the online auction site. Google said it eventually will provide a software development kit to developers who are in a tricky position: Google demonstrated how they can dig deep inside the Glass platform, but it warned they may risk voiding their warranty.
