Google: Mobile users rely on search while in-store

More than 8 in 10 mobile owners use their devices in-store to inform their shopping decisions, a Google study found. Among those using their devices in stores, 82% begin their in-store mobile quest with a search rather than an application or a brand's website. In addition, one-third of shoppers opt for their devices over store personnel to find information.
