Is it OK for firms to outsource innovation?

Companies need to have and invest in in-house innovation, but that doesn't mean they can't use outsourcing to drive their creative work, writes Matt Cooper, CEO at Imaginatik. "[A]spects of how innovation is built and executed may be outsourced, as external parties have skills and competencies which the company may not have or even need to be in-house," he writes.
