The days of simply relying on an answering service to keep health care providers accessible to their patients are fading, and now the challenge is to pick the most suitable beeper, buzzer or voice messaging system. Experts say professionals should be able to demand a good price as well as good service, but users should remember to make it easy for patients to reach them and should not set up a complicated system that is difficult to navigate.
