Some analysts say new data on the Synthes artificial spinal disc could help the company avoid the Medicare reimbursement and adoption problems that have beset the Charite disc, made by Johnson & Johnson. J&J disagrees with analysts, and one company executive said, "They are going to be faced with exactly the same situation as we are."
