The section of the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge that collapsed in April due to a tanker truck fire is set to reopen before Memorial Day weekend, well before the state Transportation Dept.'s June 27 deadline and even before contractor C.C. Myers' own estimate of June 2. The contractor stands to receive a bonus of $200,000 per day from Caltrans for each day the project is completed before June 2.
