Japanese secondary-school students tapped for research roles

Some Japanese secondary-school students are participating in scientific research by assisting researchers at the Institute for Advanced Biosciences of Keio University in Tsuruoka, Yamagata Prefecture. Students are studying biofuels and gathering data as part of the project, which officials say they hope will help interest students in science.
