Older cancer survivors benefit from lifestyle changes

A home-based counseling program aimed at diet and exercise helped older long-term survivors of colorectal, breast and prostate cancer modestly improve their physical function and quality of life. The program included personally tailored workbooks, newsletters, 15 telephone counseling sessions and eight automated prompts over 12 months.
