Foursquare finds large publishers want to get in the game

Foursquare's location-based social network has reached about 1 million users, and is becoming a magnet for partners including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Bon Appetit and Lucky. Though content distribution hasn't been a key to Foursquare's model, publishers are hoping it will catch on for uses such as hyper-local news and service-based content.
