Manufacturers are unsure of where to stand in market volatility

Manufacturers were slammed by 2009's sudden drop in global demand. Now they are struggling with capacity issues as business quickly ramps up. These sudden shifts make companies uneasy, said Bill Phelan, president of PayNet. "It's uncertainty in so many different levels," he said. "We are uncertain about our future government's finances. We are uncertain about the EU's finances. We are uncertain about the impacts of this new health care plan."
