Obama vows to end "cozy relationship" between oil industry, regulators

U.S. President Barack Obama said he will put an end to the "cozy relationship" between the oil industry and the government. He said regulators failed to enforce environmental and safety standards on offshore oil drilling. Obama plans to split up the parts of the Minerals Management Service that collect oil royalties and enforce drilling law.
