Pet owners show love with too much food

Americans have increasingly come to see dogs and cats as part of the family. Now, the pets' health may be suffering as owners show their love with food. "We confuse food with love," said veterinarian and author Ernie Ward. "In the dog world, what they want most is interaction and affection. It's not a cry for food, it's a cry for attention."
