Senator seeks 30-minute updates to no-fly list

Calling the no-fly list "one of our best lines of defense" against terrorists, Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., has updated a war-spending bill to include a requirement that foreign airlines operating in the U.S. must check the list within 30 minutes of being notified of any change. Feinstein's measure goes beyond the 2-hour time limit imposed by the Obama administration following the Times Square bombing incident on May 1.
