Memorial Day air travel looks set for a strong rebound from last year's "abysmal" levels, according to travel experts and online booking engines. "There's no 'staycation' this year," declares Rick Seaney, CEO of FareCompare.com, and a Travelocity survey finds that about 50% of respondents plan to increase their travel compared to last year. "People seem to feel more confident about travel and the economy in general," a Travelocity spokeswoman says. With airline capacity down following a long recession, "Flights are going to be completely full this summer," Seaney says.
